Set up your Affiliate Program
What it is. The Affiliate Program lets you recruit partners – homesteaders, bloggers, podcasters, loyal members – who send their audience to your store and are thanked for the customers they bring. It is separate from Referral Rewards (that one is your existing members inviting friends); you can run both.
Turn it on. Go to Settings → Add-ons → Affiliate Program → See more and switch it on. That builds everything the program needs. Then open Manage affiliates, rates & ledger to set it up.
Each partner gets: a personal referral link, a code they can say out loud (great for podcasts and word of mouth), a QR code, and their own page on your site (like yourfarm.com/mary). They sign in to their normal account and see a dashboard with their link, who they have brought in, and what they have earned.
You decide: whether they earn a percentage or a flat amount, how long a click still counts (30 days is standard), how long to hold earnings before paying (so refunds settle first), and whether to pay in farm credit or cash. Refunds take the earning back automatically. You approve each applicant, and you can turn any customer into a partner from the Recruit tab.
Getting paid & taxes. Paying in farm credit is the simplest – no tax paperwork. If you pay cash, the payment processor collects the partner’s tax details, and cash over the yearly IRS threshold is reported on a 1099 – the partner files their own taxes, not you. Post the apply form anywhere with the shortcode [uneac_affiliate_apply].
On a ministry farm the wording is a “thank-you gift” rather than a commission. Questions? Message us through the Help assistant.
