1. “The order shows as still editable.” Orders are editable until their deadline – that’s the design. They lock to Processing at the deadline, on their own.
2. “Nothing was charged!” Right – cards charge at packing, not at ordering. Also: store credit spends first, so a fully-covered order never touches the card.
3. “A card declined.” The customer already got an automatic email to update their card; the order is held, nothing retries by itself. Retry from the order page when they’ve fixed it.
4. “I turned an add-on off – did I lose my settings?” Never. Everything is kept; turning it back on restores it all.
5. “The page looks stale.” Refresh first – carts and Packing Day update live, browsers sometimes nap.
