Labels for boxes, and stickers for the cold bags

← Help Center

On Packing Day, the print menu has more than a packing slip in it. Three of them are stickers, and they exist for the same reason: the person packing should not have to hold anything in their head.

Label for Boxes

One sticker per box the order needs, sized for a 3×2 label. It carries the member’s name big enough to read across a bench, the pickup stop, which box it is, and the egg counts if there are eggs. If an order needs two boxes you get two stickers, so a box cannot go out unlabelled.

Sticker for Frozen Food

Sticker for Refrigerated Food

One sticker per bag, with the name, the stop, and the first few things in that bag in small type underneath — enough to tell two bags apart at a glance without opening either.

Heavy orders split. When a bag would go past the weight you set in Boxes & bags, it becomes two, and the stickers say 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. The split is worked out piece by piece, not line by line — two gallons on one line is two separate weights to place, not one lump that fits nowhere.

Why the stop is on every sticker. A label with only a name on it is fine until two bags from different runs end up on the same bench. The stop is what stops a Paramus bag going to Bronxville, and it costs nothing to print.
