One note for an order – on the slip and in their email
On Packing Day, each order has a ✎ Slip note box. Whatever you type there prints on that order’s packing slip and shows the member in their “ready for pickup” email, as one bold red “Note for you:” line. You only write it once.
If any item on the order is out of stock, a short “so-and-so is out of stock, you weren’t charged” line is added to that same note automatically – you don’t have to type it. So the member always sees your note and the out-of-stock news together, and it matches the slip exactly.
