On Packing Day, choosing Out of stock from an item’s Actions dropdown now acts immediately – no popup – because Undo sits right in the same dropdown. The item comes off the charge, and a kind sorry-note (wording editable under Emails → Wording) prints on the member’s packing list.
Two things worth knowing: the note is computed when the slip prints, so if you printed before marking the item out, print again and the note appears. And group-bag stickers skip out-of-stock items on purpose – the sorry-note belongs to the main packing list, where the item also shows crossed out.
