Welcome – your first look around

Welcome to your farm store! Log in at yourfarm.com/wp-admin with the account we set up together. The left menu is your whole store: the upper section is your daily work (Orders, Packing Day, Items, Customers), the lower section is setup (Settings, Add-ons, Team, My Account).

Three places worth visiting on day one:

Nothing here can break the store – every page explains itself, and anything you turn off can be turned back on with everything intact.

Your logo, colors, and homepage

Open Design → Design Panel. Upload your logo (it appears in the header, at login, and even as the picture for any product that has none yet). Pick your four colors – buttons, bands, and emails all follow them.

Then Design → Edit Homepage: your homepage is built from ready-made farm sections – hero photo, your story, how ordering works, category tiles. Click into any section and edit the words and pictures directly. The category tiles fill themselves from your product categories, in the order you set on each category (“Tile order”).

The footer is yours too: Design Panel → Footer Columns – four columns, each with a dropdown for what it shows (categories, blog posts, sign-up links, or your address and pickup days).

Adding your products

Go to Items → Add New Item. Name, price, a short appetizing line (it shows under the name in the store), a photo (bright, square, real – your photos sell better than perfect ones), and a category.

Sold by weight? On the item, set Sold by to “weight,” enter the price per lb and the average weight. The store shows “$8.99/lb · avg 2.9 lb (est $26)” – customers are charged the exact weighed amount when you pack, never the estimate.

Moving from another platform? Don’t retype anything – Customers → Store Import brings your whole product list in from a spreadsheet, photos included.

Two friendly extras on each item: volume rewards (“Get 4+ and save”) and Buy-and-get-one (“buy 3, the 4th is on us”).
